Questions
Frequently asked questions
Do I need to give my name or contact details to see quotes?
No. The system requires sex, date of birth, general health category, tobacco use status, coverage amount, and term length. Those six data points suffice to produce carrier quotes. Personal and medical information is collected only if you proceed to apply.
Are the monthly prices shown the price I will pay?
These are the rates that carriers quote for the health level you selected. After underwriting, the carrier sets your actual premium—which may improve, hold steady, or worsen your class. Quotes on this site are not insurance offers or guarantees.
What happens when I click Apply?
You provide your name, and the application launches with your answers already entered, on the carriers' secure servers. You may pause and return later; signatures are digital. Susman Insurance Agency, a licensed California firm (License 0B75129), oversees the process.
Will I need a medical exam?
That depends on the carrier, coverage amount, and your answers. Carriers offering instant decisions can approve qualified applicants rapidly; each quote shows whether an exam is required, possibly needed, or not necessary.
Is a longer term better?
Terms cover the period your dependents would suffer most if your income stopped: a loan balance, children still at home, dependent care expenses. Longer terms mean higher monthly cost but locked-in rates for longer. You can compare 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 year options side by side.
Does this site sell my information?
No. The quote tool gathers no personal details, we do not buy or share data, and our tracking is cookieless. Visit the privacy policy for a complete list of what's gathered and by whom.
